Ataraxy Farm

After returning from Bosnia in 1993, Blair was diagnosed with service-related PTSD. Blair and his wife Kim started a therapy farm to help him to cope. Kim left her career, helped to initiate their therapy farm and now 8 years later is on a journey to help many others by opening their farm to the public.
To support the farm, each goats-milk soap is crafted as a symbol of mental health awareness, made with love and compassion with the help of many. The farm is now expanding to include dairy products. All farm sales go directly back to supporting the farm animals and allowing the farm tours to be free.

Cool Hand Nukes

There was a need within my own family, to protect vulnerable hands. My brother has advanced diabetes and no feeling in his hands. He burned himself on a hot microwaved bowl... I made the first one for him, then one for my stepmother, who has dementia but was still living at home. We realized that there was a real need for these... so we started creating, and its been a wonderful experience
